Grupo Folklórico

Welcome to the CHPA Grupo Folklórico program. CHPA is the only school in Pueblo County and the State of Colorado that offers a Ballet Folklórico/Dance elective to elementary, middle, and high school students. The program serves approximately 100 students each year and provides unique opportunities for students to study culturally specific performing arts of the region-bridging dance, culture, and history.  Students develop leadership skills, while also fostering community through public performances on and off campus. Additionally, our high school Folklórico students can receive concurrent enrollment college credit through Pueblo Community College.
